Qualifications for a Rollator:
1. Your Doctor must recommended the Equipment
2. You Must have difficulty in ambulating without assistance
3. You must qualify for a walker, but need the ability to sit and rest while trying to ambulate
If you suffer from COPD, severe Arthritis, recent surgery impairing ambulation or lower extremity deformity and you need the ability to sit while attempting to ambulate, you may qualify for a rollator.
Rollators are slightly heavier then a standard walker but are still easy to use and can easily be put in a vehicle for transportation.
Rollators provide 4 wheels with brakes for easy mobility as well as a padded seat for the ability to sit and take a break while attempting to ambulate.
